Questions

What does 550+ g/l mean?

It is the litre weight: at least 550 grams of peppercorns fill one litre. A higher number means denser berries.

Why grind it fresh?

Ground pepper loses its aroma quickly. Whole peppercorns keep it until you crack them.

Black or white pepper?

Black is pungent and fruity. White is milder and earthier, and leaves no dark flecks in pale sauces.

How long will it keep?

The best-before date is printed on the jar. Keep the lid closed, in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat.

What is kali mirch in English?

Black pepper: the dried berry of the Piper nigrum vine. Sold whole as black peppercorns.

How can I pay and what does shipping cost?
