Questions

How do I grind it?

Dry-roast on low heat until fragrant, cool it, then grind in a spice grinder or mortar.

Can I use the whole seeds?

Yes. Add them whole to tempering oil, pickles, brines or stock.

Is it the same as dhania powder?

It is the same seed, ground. Whole seed stays fresher for longer, so grind small batches.

How long will it keep?

The best-before date is printed on the jar. Keep the lid closed, in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat.

What is dhaniya called in English?

Coriander seeds. In the US the leaves of the same plant are called cilantro, and the seeds are still called coriander.
